The special general meeting of fellows for the election of the president was held on Monday 11 April 2022 as part of College Day. You can watch the president’s address and the announcement of the result of the election below.
Important information about attendance
College Day 2022 will be a hybrid meeting with fellows able to attend virtually or in person at the RCP at Regent’s Park in London.
Virtual attendance
All fellows are automatically registered for virtual attendance on College Day. Fellows will receive an email by Monday 21 March 2022, which will include a link to watch the full broadcast. You will not need to navigate away from the page to join the lectures. This email will be sent from no-reply@eckoenterprise.net.
If you have not received an email by Monday 28 March 2022, please email conferences@rcp.ac.uk or call 020 3075 2389. We encourage you to access the website as soon as you have received the email. This will help to ensure that you do not have any issues in accessing the broadcast page and associated documentation on the day.
The link provided in your registration and reminder emails must not be circulated to anyone who is not a fellow of the RCP as this is a fellows-only broadcast page.
College Day papers can be downloaded below and will be made available on the broadcast website.

Fellows attending virtually are reminded that online voting in the elections for president, clinical vice president and councillors will close at midday on Monday 11 April 2022. Fellows will have received email notification from Civica Election Services (sent from takepart@cesvotes.com) during March on how to access candidates’ election material and vote online.
Physical attendance
You will need to book to attend via this link, where options will include dinner and requests to vote in person for the election of the president. We regret we are not able to accept walk-in registrations.
Fellows attending physically can request to vote in person for the election of the president. These must be received by Wednesday 6 April 2022. Access to candidates’ election material is online and will close at midday on Monday 11 April 2022. Fellows will have received email notification from Civica Election Services during March on how to access candidates’ election material and vote online.
Please note that voting in the election of the clinical vice president and councillors is online only and will close at midday on Monday 11 April 2022.
